Water and Effluent Treatment Plant Design
Our services in this area include the process and hydraulic design of water, groundwater and effluent treatment plants, potable and pure water production plants and sludge treatment facilities for both municipal and industrial clients. We have provided process and hydraulic design consultancy for all stages of Sewage and Industrial Effluent Treatment, for clients including Weir Pumps, Invent Water Treatment, Southern Water, Entec, Knoll Pharmaceuticals, Geodelft Environmental, SLR Consulting, Dalkia, and Eli Lilly.
We designed and commissioned five groundwater treatment systems, and we offer continuing process support and troubleshooting for three groundwater treatment plants.
In addition we have commissioned several sewage treatment plants, two sludge thickening centrifuge systems , a sludge thickening DAF system, and five groundwater treatment systems. We have successfully carried out troubleshooting and resolution of problems with many packaged sewage treatment plants supplied by Conder, Clearwater, Titan, Acorn, Entec, and WPL. Sean Moran has acted as an expert witness in this field, as well as assisting with an objection to a planning application for a large sewage pumping station near a food processing facility.
We have delivered training courses in the UK and the Middle East (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Oman and Kuwait) on Process Plant Commissioning and on Water and Effluent Treatment Plant Design.
Sean Moran has also served as a member of the committee of the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) Water Subject Group, and is on the IChemE Register of Consultants.
